Ruby Miller Brown BOSTIC, NC-- Ruby Miller Brown, 92, of Fair Haven Nursing Center died on Thursday, December 30, 2010. A native of Spartanburg County, SC, she was born on March 19, 1918, a daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Edwards Miller. She was homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher in the Ruby Brown Sunday School Class, named after Mrs. Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Harold Brown; one daughter, Stella Baber. She is survived by her sons, Benny Brown of Marion and Douglas Brown of Yadkenville; daughters, Dot Hyde of Shelby, NC, and Brenda Campbell of Bostic; sisters, Jessie Blake of Athens, GA, and Ann Lee of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Bethel Baptist Church of Ellenboro with the Rev. David Easler and Dr. Wayne Blackwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church.
