Ruby C. Jones WOODRUFF, SC-- Ruby Carlton Jones, 68, of 245 Cooper Bridge Road, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 at the Regional Hospice Home. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Annie Belle Green Carlton. She was a homemaker and a member of Bellview Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the Senior Adults and taught the Co-Ed 60 and up Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband, Carol Jack Jones of the home; two daughters, Marie Jones Coster and her husband Eddie Coster of Woodruff, and Kim Jones Huckaby and her husband Rev. Tim Huckaby of Woodruff; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was pre-deceased by two sisters, Lucy Carlton Crow and Kathy Carlton; and by a brother, Jimmie Carlton. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Bellview Baptist Church by the Rev. Ray Mims and Rev. Tim Huckaby. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bellview Baptist Church Music Program and Images of Praise, 901 Bellview Road, Woodruff, SC 29388; or Burnsview Baptist Church Building Fund, 9690 Reidville Road, Greer, SC 29651.
