BERLIN -- Ruby A. Brown, 86, formerly of Hill Road, Dummer, died Nov. 25, 2009, at Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Dummer, Dec. 6, 1922, to Fred and Alice (Goud) Brown and was raised in Dummer. She also lived in Oakville, Conn., where she worked in factories. She returned to Dummer upon her retirement. She was a member of Dummer Community Church and Dummer Women's Society. For many years she sent get well cards for the Women's Society to those who were ill or recuperating. Family members include two nephews, Roger P. Smith of North Stratford and Ronald R. Smith of Gorham; grandnieces and grandnephews; and great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews and cousins. SERVICES: Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Dummer Community Church. Interment will be in Willis Cemetery in Dummer. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Dummer Community Church Building Fund.
