Powell, Rosemary JeanetteDec. 24, 1939 - Dec. 31, 2013Rosemary Jeanette Powell, 74, of Bradenton, formerly of Peoria, IL, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at her home in Bradenton. She was born December 24, 1939 in Peoria to Bernard and Gertrude Griffith Holzinger. She married Richard Powell on June 2, 1979 in Washington, IL. He survives.Rosemary is also survived by her three children, Faye Sullivan of Bradenton, Jackie (Phillip) Luebcke of Peoria, and Mark (Deborah) Sullivan of Homosassa, Florida; three grandchildren, Douglas Luebcke of Peoria, Kimberly Luebcke of Seattle, Washington, and Mark Sullivan, Jr. of Boca Raton, Florida; one sister, Marilyn (Lyle) Allison of Lexington, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.She is also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.Rosemary was an editorial assistant for Journal of Natural Products for 23 years, last working in October. She previously had owned and operated Esteem Publications in Peoria for many years.She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Osceola Chapter, and a former president of Big Pine Key Lions Club.Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria. Rev. Robert Finley will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Avon Cemetery in Avon, IL.
