ANDERSON Rose L. Mussari Anderson, age 84, of Fairfield, devoted wife of the late William R. Anderson, died on Wednesday, November 12, 2003, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Honesdale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Frances Cacossa Mussari. A resident of Bridgeport for more than 40 years, Rose moved to Fairfield approximately three years ago. A retired telephone operator for Southern New England Telephone Co., she had worked there for more than 16 years. A religious lady, she was a parishioner of St. Emery’s Church, the Ladies Guild and St. Emery’s Senior Citizens. She was a loving and caring person to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and to all she knew. Survivors include her three children, Carol Boulton and her husband, Roger, of Ft. Ann, N.Y., Beverly Mills of California, and Danny Anderson of Bridgewater, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Hoffman of Fairfield, and Margaret Mancuso of Carbondale, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers and one sister. Friends are invited to go "directly" to St. Emery’s Church, Fairfield, TODAY at 10 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull line), is in charge of arrangements.
