Roland Raymond October 14th, 1927 May 15th, 2008 Roland Raymond, age 80, passed away at Royal University Hospital on Thursday, May 15th, 2008. Roland will be loved and remembered by his siblings, Alice (Joseph) Hounjet of Saskatoon; Sr. Gisele of Montreal; Irene (Ernest) Fontaine of Prud'homme; Germaine (Armand) Grise of Saskatoon; Therese (Joseph) Mercier of Saskatoon; John (Pauline) of Saskatoon and Arthur (Caroline) of Saskatoon as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Roland was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Augustine; brother, Louis Raymond; and sister-in-law, Lucille. Roland farmed in the St. Denis area for many years and at the age of 54 he moved to Saskatoon. Vigil of Roland will be held on Tuesday, May 20th, at 7:00 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 21st, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Father Alphonsus Ozemena as the celebrant. Both services from St. Paul's Cathedral (Spadina Cres. East and 22nd.) Rite of Committal to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
