ROBERT N. PARKER - BURLINGTON - Robert N. Parker, 54, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2014, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. He was born Feb. 16, 1959, in Burlington. Bob graduated from C.P. Smith School and Burlington High School. He enjoyed many sports, particularly baseball, where he once pitched a perfect game with the Babe Ruth League. Bob also enjoyed playing his guitar with his friends in several local bands. Bob worked at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and enjoyed all of his coworkers. Bob leaves behind his mother, Nancy; and brother, David and partner of twelve years, Karin Brenin. He also leaves behind his aunt, Marilyn from Castleton; an uncle, Bob and Julie from Virginia; uncle, Donald and Beverly from Fair Haven; and many cousins from Virginia, Massachusetts and Vermont. He was predeceased by his father, Wilbur. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the First Congregational Church on South Winooski Avenue in Burlington. Private burial services will be held at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Cremation Society of Chittenden County, 261 Shelburne Rd., Burlington.
