WARNER – Robert E. Davis, 74, of North Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at his home.He was born in Lewiston, Maine on Jan. 22, 1940, the son of Leonard F. and Katherine S. (Coughlin) Davis. Bob lived in the Springfield-New London area for many years before moving to Warner 12 years ago.He had been Chief of Security at Colby-Sawyer College in New London from 1978-1992.Bob enjoyed lake fishing on his boat, the "Miss Wendy". He also loved sports. He was always watching a Red Sox or Patriots game and kept up on how the Bruins and Celtics were doing. He was a loyal New England fan." A proud U.S. Army veteran, Bob served from 1963-1969 and spent some time in Alaska which he loved.Members of his family surviving include his daughter, Wendy Davis of Newbury; two granddaughters, Kaitlin Marie Gregg and Ashley Elizabeth Clark; three siblings, Leonard Davis of Chester, Barbara Konecny of Northglenn, Colo. and Russell Davis of Reading, Mass.; nieces and nephews.Services will be held at the convenience of the family.Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of one's choice.To sign an online guestbook please visit chadwickfuneralservice.com.
