Funeral service for Robbie Nell Montgomery, 71, will be on Friday, April 11, 2014, at noon at Salem Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Roger Montgomery is pastor and Pastor Warren Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Ms. Montgomery remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Ms. Montgomery passed away on April 5, 2014 at Regional Medical Center. Ms. Montgomery was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church, she attended Rushing Springs School of Theology, also member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Choir in Jamica, N.Y. Survivors include her son, CSM Warren Montgomery (Essence), of U.S. Army; granddaughters, Waneik Montgomery, of Gainesville, Fla. and Briaunna Montgomery, of Lawereville, Ga.; siblings, Rosemary (Billy) Stokes, of Anniston, Lodessa Montgomery, of Atlanta, Ga., Benny (Mary) Montgomery, Jerry (Vivan) Montgomery, Pastor Roger (Nell) Montgomery, Alfred (Linda) Montgomery, the Rev. Earl (Norma) Montgomery, Paul (Sharon) Montgomery, Harris (Minister Brenda) Montgomery, Terance (Rosaline) Montgomery, all of Eastaboga; other relatives and friends.
