RICHARD McDONALD PALM BAY Richard J. McDonald (Buck), 80, of Palm Bay, went to be with the Lord and his loved ones on Saturday, May 20, 2006. Buck was born in Millbrook, NJ on April 30, 1926. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and served with the National Guard.After the war he worked at Picatinny Arsenal and served with the Millbrook Fire Depart ment. In 1956 they moved to Palm Bay where he was a volunteer for the Palm Bay Volunteer Fire Department and became chief. In 1981 he retired from FPL after 25 years of employment. He was a life member of VFW Post 4206 and a mem ber of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4249. He liked to garden, fish, read, bake, bird watch and target shoot. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marjorie (Midge) McDonald; his brothers, Harry of Melbourne Beach and David of Las Vegas; children, Rick, Ron, Debbie (Pete Davis) and Sharon McDonald Grimmich; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A Veterans Memorial Serv ice will be held at 11a.m., Fri day, May 26, 2006 at VFW Post 4206, 3201 S. Dairy Rd, West Melbourne, FL 32901. Donations in his memory can be made to the VFW Post 4206.
