Folkston - Richard Davis, 49, of Folkston, Georgia, husband of Diane Davis Davis, died Friday morning, January 24, 2003, at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Born in Madison County, Indiana, he was a son of Earline Fish and James Harold Davis. Mr. Davis was a self-employed residential contractor. Surviving are his wife, Diane Davis Davis of the home; two daughters, Pamela Davis of Sparta, Tennessee, and Janice Davis of Folkston, Georgia; two sons, Robert L. Davis of Folkston, Georgia, and Jeffery A. Davis of Woodbury, Tennessee; his mother, Earline Fish of Sparta, Tennessee; one sister, Patricia Bridges of Sparta, Tennessee; two brothers, Daniel Davis of Jacksonville, Florida, and Lester Davis of Sparta, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Courtney Nicole Davis and Jacob Allen Davis, and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 oclock Tuesday morning at Sipple Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 oclock Tuesday morning in the Chapel of Sipple Mortuary.
