EMMOTT, Rebecca (Betty) Elizabeth nee Miller Betty passed away peacefully on October 18, 2009 in Edmonton at the Grey Nuns Hospital. She was born on January 14, 1936 in New Brunswick. Betty is survived by her brother Jack (Evelyn) and his family; her children Barry (Diane) Emmott, Neil Emmott, and Karen (Len) Garth. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Kelly, Anthony, Blake, Cameron, Abi, and Taylor. Betty was predeceased by her father John in 1993 and her mother Helen on October 12, 2009. Betty will be remembered as an incredible daughter, wonderful mother, and amazing friend. Betty will be very dearly missed by all of those who knew her. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Unit 53 at The Grey Nuns Hospital for the outstanding care and attention they gave Betty during her last days.
