Ray Anderson DeMotte, IN. Ray Anderson, age 63, of DeMotte, IN., departed his life February 11, 2005 at St. Anthony Hospice, Crown Point, IN. He was born on April 6, 1941 in Chicago, IL. to Virginia (nee Sweet) and Palmer Anderson. He attended Chicago Public Schools. On September 1, 1984 he married Vicky L. Barton in Benham, KY. A resident of DeMotte since 1995, he also lived in Chicago,IL. He was owner/operator of Corner Heating and Air in Chicago, IL. retiring after 20 years of service. A. U.S. Army veteran and member of Calvary Assembly of God. He was a hard worker and a very supportive family man. Ray Anderson is survived by: His wife, Vicky L. (nee Barton) Anderson, DeMotte, IN. Mother, Virginia (nee Sweet) Anderson, Titusville, FL. Children: Jessica and Jennifer Anderson, both of Demotte, IN. Scott and Denise Anderson, both of Chicago, IL. Two step-children: Rick Adkins and Connie Plocinski Four grandchildren: Justin, Danielle, Jacob, Terrance One sister-in-law: Kim Sirk of DeMotte, IN. Sisters: Bonnie (Carl) Dodd, Chicago, IL. and Judy (Rich) Peterson, Titusville, FL. Ray Anderson was preceded in death by: His father: Palmer Anderson One brother, and one daughter. The family will receive friends in Tuesday, February 15, 2005 from 2-8 p.m. at Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte with Pastor Jim Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Demote Cemetery.
