LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. Ralph Gunter, 65, of Washington Hwy., died Sunday, January 16, 2005 at Doctor's Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at 4 p.m. at Tignall Baptist Church with Revs. Dale Fincher and Stephen Rayner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Gunter, U.S. Army veteran, was a native of Green County, but had lived in Lincoln County most of his life. He was a self-employed carpenter, a member of Tignall Baptist Church, the American Legion and Hardee's Breakfast Club. Survivors include his daughters, Patty Gunter Arthur, Angie Gunter Spratlin, Susan Gunter and Michelle Miller Broome, all of Lincolnton, and Diane Miller Bailey of Washington, GA.; a brother, Robert (Bobby) Gunter, Carlton, GA; sisters, Shirley G. Crook, Lincolnton and Dorothy G. Murphy, Adairsville, GA and twelve grandchildren. Pallbearers are Adam Standard, Brian Broome, Chris Broome, Richard Broome, Jack Crook, Jr. and Tommy Corb ett.
