Peggy "Jean" Harvey Smith, 70, of 2270 Highway 101 South, widow of Landrum Prince Smith, died Feb. 4, 2003, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Greenville County, a daughter of the late Boyce Lee Harvey Sr. and Lillian Lister Harvey, she was a retired employee of State Auto Insurance Co. and was a member of Abner Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Linda Smith, of Lyman; a brother, Boyce Lee Harvey Jr., of Greer; and a sister, Betty Lou H. Vaden, of Greer. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. Frank Keels and the Rev. Donel Kelly. Burial will follow at Wood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight, at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home of the son: Brian Smith, 332 Tyger Ridge Lane, Inman.
