Paul was a successful man and faithful servant of the Lord, and most significantly, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus.Paul was born in Richton, Mississippi on October 16th, 1940 to Carnie and Auralie Smith and married to Wanda Swaim Smith on December 23rd, 1961. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1962.He was a member of East Brent Baptist Church, and served with a heart of service and generosity with the Christian ministries such as, the Bicycle Ministry and the AWANA'S Club, within the church.Paul and Wanda enjoyed a wonderful 51 years of marriage together. He leaves two sons Warren (Jennifer Rockwell) Smith of Pensacola,FL and Russell Smith of Pensacola, FL. Three grandchildren include Darren Smith, Courtney Smith and Jordan Smith. Following with two great-grandchildren, Kylie Redden and Emma Smith. Along with, two sisters, Voncile (Roger) Smith of Milton, Florida and Annette (Francis) Windham of Burmuda, Alabama, and two brother-in-law's, James (Michele) Hinderliter of Pinedale, Wyoming and Dan R.(Emily) Hinderliter of Dothan, Alabama.Memorial Service will be on Monday, April 15th at 10:00 AM at East Brent Baptist Church, 4801 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola, Florida.Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
