LABELLE - Paul Roser passed away Good Friday evening, March 29, 2013, just 26 hours after successfully planning and throwing a HUGE Birthday Party for Nikki at the Civic Center in LaBelle. He was born in Morristown, N.J. to Beatrice and Paul Roser Sr. on Oct. 16, 1936. He was raised in Netcong, N.J. After graduation he attended Rutgers's University, but became a businessman, opening a Foreign Car Auto Parts Store in Morristown. In 1959 he was drafted into the Army and served two years at Fort Hood, Texas. He once again opened a foreign car auto parts store and sold the new, small Honda Motorcycles in Killeen and Dallas, Texas. In Dallas he became a Realtor Broker and worked in Dallas and Forney, Texas. He moved to Naples, Fla. in 1988, continuing to work in real estate. He was managing broker for Century 21 and ReMax both in Naples before moving to LaBelle. Not wanting to take the responsibility of other realtors, he began Paul Roser Realtors with Nikki Yeager being his only agent. Paul was an eight year head & neck cancer survivor. With major tongue surgery in 2009, he was unable to eat for 4 years. He was in contact with survivors across the world via e-mails with encouragement and advice of things that had worked for him. Paul became a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite and Schriners after his first bout with cancer in 2005. Through it all, he maintained his perfect attendance in Rotary and was awarded recognition for 50 years of Perfect Attendance by the Rotary Club of LaBelle and by 2 Rotary Clubs in Naples, one of which he had been president. Survivors include Nikki, his soul-mate of 15 years; sister, Barbara Moss (Mel); their sons and grandchildren; son, Paul M. Miller (Joanne); and daughter, Nancy Fabrygel (Chris) and children. He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Wendy Miller. A memorial service will be Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Carlson Memorial United Methodist Church in LaBelle, beginning at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to Hope Hospice, 1201 Wings Way, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936.
