Patricia Rockman An adored 'grande dame' who wore many hats in her family Patricia Rockman, 66, of Highland Park, N.J., passed away on Nov. 9, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick, N.J. Interment will follow in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, N.J. Patricia was born in Perth Amboy, N.J., and attended Drew University. She was married to Andrew Rockman on May 30, 1981, and they enjoyed 33 incredible years together. Patricia was a loving wife, devoted mother, wonderful (and patient) stepmother, model grandmother, godmother, sister, daughter and friend. She was funny and she was brilliant. Patricia was fiercely devoted, staggeringly generous, and quite possibly the most patient, proud and preternaturally gifted 'grande dame' a family could hope for. She was also one mean card player. Depending on who you speak to, she was Patricia, Trish, Patty, Pat, Mom or MomMom. Patricia Rockman was all these things and she was cherished by all who knew her. Patricia will be sorely missed. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Marie Teliha. She is survived by her beloved and adoring husband, Andrew; her son, Justin; her stepsons, Matthew and Seth; her granddaughter, Ayanna; her goddaughter, Alexandra; and her two brothers, Peter and John Teliha.
