NASHUA ; Patricia Allyn Johnson, 56, of Nashua, died at Community Hospice House in Merrimack on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008.Patty was born on Sept. 1, 1952, in Rochester. She was the daughter of the late Allan F. Sr. and Evelyn (Leighton) Crandall. She attended both Dover and Nashua High Schools. She married Wayne R. Johnson on Dec. 15, 1973, the happiest day of her life.Patty was a true people person. Her favorite saying was, "A stranger is just a friend that you haven't met yet," and she lived her life accordingly. To know Patty was to love her. She was a kind, loving, and gentle woman whose smile was contagious. She drew pleasure from the simple things in life: family, friends and church. She very much enjoyed traveling and camping with her family in their RV. Patty was a member of the Nashua Church of Christ and was blessed to have such a caring group of people in her life. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Wayne R. Johnson; a son, Rolayne A. Johnson of Nashua; three grandchildren, Cyan, Cyrus and Jett of Milford; two brothers and sisters-in law, Allan F. Jr. and Patricia Crandall of Fort Myers, Fla., and Gary L. and Darlene Crandall of Concord; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Jerry Bertrand of Rollinsford, and Terry and Brian Shepperd of Milton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. at the Nashua Church of Christ, 97 Farley Road, Nashua. Interment prayers and burial will take place on Friday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. in New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Central New England Chapter, 101A First Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451-1115 or the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
