HOOKSETT - Patricia "Pat" Davis, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Old Town, Maine, on Sept. 12, 1927, the daughter of Hollis and Marguerite (Burnham) Phelps. Pat was joined in marriage with Cary Davis in August 1947. Pat's primary role was that of wife and mother, a role she enjoyed until the death of her husband. She then began a career as a cook with the Manchester Housing Authority. Pat was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles; she loved Maine, particularly Bar Harbor and Pushaw Pond in Old Town, where she spent her childhood summers. She is survived by four children, Dawn Potvin and her husband, Andy, of Manchester, Linda Beliveau of Hooksett, Robyn Roy-Gagne and her husband, Gerard, of Hooksett, Jefferson Davis and his wife, Ronda, of Antrim; 11 grandchildren, Scott, Kristy, Jonathan, Amanda, Jen, Joshua, Brian, Sarah, Ashlee, Matthew and Haley; eight great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, John Finnerty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cary, in 1976; a daughter, Deborah Finnerty; and a brother, Hollis Phelps Jr. . services: Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, in Goodwin Funeral Home, 607 Chestnut St., Manchester.
