Nancy Elaine Jackson, 66, of Newark, N.J., passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011, at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Visiting hours will be 9 a.m. Saturday, March 19, until the time of the funeral at 10 a.m. at Memorial West United Presbyterian Church, 286 S. 7th St., Newark, N.J. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, N.J. James H. Hunt Funeral Home, Asbury Park, N.J., is in charge of arrangements. Nancy was born in Newark, N.J., on July 20, 1944, to Rufus and Nancy Jackson. She was a lifelong resident of Newark and graduated from Arts High School in 1961. She was employed as a bus driver for Coach USA and retired in 2007. She is survived by her sisters, Sylvia and Josephine Jackson of Newark, and Lela Harvey (James) of Bloomfield, Conn.; her brother, Henry G. Jackson (Joan) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; several nieces, two nephews, many cousins and friends.
