Nancy L. Dowd, 73, died May 11, 2010, at her daughter's home in Palm City. She was born in Merrill, Wis., and was a resident of Florida since 1941, growing up in Miami. Prior to retirement, she was a nurses aide at Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables. She also was a bank teller at Jefferson National Bank in North Miami Beach. Survivors include her daughter, Lorie Dowd of Palm City; son, Danny Dowd of Seattle, Wash.; brother, David Mahfuz of Miami; and one grandchild. Services: A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. May 14 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, with Pastor Tom Hartley of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Palm City officiating.
