OHATCHEE — Memorial service for Donald Wayne Owens, 58, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Anniston Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Nathan Wilkerson officiating. Mr. Owens died Saturday, January 2, 2010, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Owens; one son, Robert Owens and his wife, Lisa; one step-daughter, Kathy Good; one stepson, Joe Good; six grandchildren, Kim, Amy, Robin, Holly, Robert and Summer Owens; one stepgrandchild, Jason Milwood; four brothers, Gene, Billy, Harold and Jimmy Owens; two sisters, Sue Holliday and Joyce Pruitt; a sister-in-law, Audrey Owens; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Clara Owens; one grandson, Tommy Owens; a stepson, Ken Good; a brother, Buddy Owens and a sister, Gert Grantham. Mr. Owens was employed as a driver for Martin Transportation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
