Megan Christine Mohrbutter Anderson, with the support of her loving family and friends, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock, N.J. She was 26 years old. Visiting will be held in the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton, N.J., on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral service is at Jacksonville Chapel, 264 Jacksonville Rd., Lincoln Park, N.J., on Monday, Feb. 18, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Megan was born and raised in Bloomfield, N.J. She then lived in Montville, N.J., and Florham Park, N.J., before moving to Pompton Plains, N.J., last year. She was a graduate of Caldwell College in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in communication arts. Megan worked for the NY Jets as a game day staffer, the job of her dreams. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas M. Anderson, and her grandmother, Shirley VanLeer. Surviving are her mother, Rita Conklin, with husband Richard, of Montville, N.J.; father, Curtis Mohrbutter, with wife Barbara; maternal grandfather, Jan VanLeer; paternal grandparents, Theodore and Patricia Mohrbutter; a sister, Brittany; brothers, Branndon, Clark and Mack Mohrbutter; stepbrothers, Rick, Brain, Alex and Thomas Conklin; aunts, Theresa Andren, Shirley Rossi, Rebecca Rater and Deborah Perez; Uncle Karl VanLeer, and many cousins and friends.
