VALOIS, MAURICE J., 'MOE', 62, of School St., died at Brooksville Regional Hospital, Florida. He was the husband of Elizabeth 'Betty' (Moreau) Valois. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Robert M. and Rose A. (Morin) Valois. He had been a Central Falls Police Office for 27 years retiring in 1990 as a Sergeant. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police #6475, and of the RI National Guard.He is also survived by four daughters, Deborah A. Elderkin, Theresa M. Tougas, Susan D. LaPlante and Ann Marie D. DeGeeter, a brother, Robert R. Valois, a sister, Pauline R. Ascunsion, and five grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Saint Matthew Church, Dexter St., Central Falls. Burial will be private.
