Post OfficeLAKELAND -- Mrs. Mary H. McDonald of Lakeland died from a cerebral vascular accident Friday (April 16, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 73.Born in Seale, Ala., she came here from Alabama in 1947. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service in the downtown Lakeland office for 15 years. She was a member of Chapel in the Grove Presbyterian Church, where she was an elder and member of the choir.Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her husband, William McDonald. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Phelps, Lakeland, Meliah Holloway, Norcross, Ga.; sister, Martha Moller, Johnson City, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel in the Grove Presbyterian Church.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
