Mary Jo Hubbard Hand, 89, of Panama City Beach, Fla., formerly of Tifton, died Friday, September 2, 2011, at Bay County Hospital, Panama City, Fla.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2011, in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Rev. Bruce Sack officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, September 5, 2011, at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.Born March 5, 1922, in Woodstock, Ga., to the late Charles T. Hubbard and Mamie Boston Hubbard, Mrs. Hand was also preceded in death by her husband, James Herbert Hand; one daughter, Carolyn Hand Robertson; one daughter-in-law, Pauline Hand; two sisters, Cleo Hubbard McCain and Ruth Hubbard Cousins; and two brothers, Lee C. Hubbard and Charles T. Hubbard.Mrs. Hand, a homemaker, was a graduate of Tifton High School and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tifton. She moved to Panama City Beach, Fla., thirteen years ago and was residing in Belvedere Commons at the time of her death.Mrs. Hand is survived by one daughter and one son-in-law, Ruth Hobbs and Terry Hobbs, Sr., of Panama City Beach, Fla.; one son, Charles Herbert Hand, Sr., of Mauk, Ga.; her grandchildren, Terry Hobbs, Jr., of Panama City Beach, Fla., Charles Herbert Hand, Jr., of Mauk, Ga., Kimberly Hand Allen of Columbus, Ga., Donna McCord Herrell of Ft.
