She was born in Washington, D.C.; a no-strings attached giver, and always thought of others before herself, even on her deathbed. She was a life long Democrat and lived the Alanon program for more than 30 years!! She leaves behind a sister, Cindy Fitzner; a son, Charles Stafford; a daughter, Mary Jane Stafford; a step-daughter, Leilani Polk; a niece, Laurie Fitzner; and a brother, Denny Dye. She also leaves behind granddaughters, Mary Jane Powell, Cindy Lee Hartman, and Elena Sophia Stafford. Private services will be held.
