AUGUSTA -- Mary Jane Noella Morin, 82, passed away on June 18, 2010, at the Maine Veterans' Home after a brief Illness.Marie was born in Augusta on Dec. 26, 1927, the daughter of Wilfred and Eva (Rousseau) Cormier. Marie attended local Augusta schools, was a communicant at St. Michael's Parish Church and was a lifelong resident of Augusta. Marie worked in the cafeteria at R.P. Hazzard Co., Shaw's and MaineGeneral Medial Center. Marie was predeceased by her parents; husband Joseph F. Morin; son Joseph Morin; and brothers Lionel, Harold and Edmond (Jim) Cormier. She is survived by daughter Helene Duncan of North Whitefield; son Edmond Morin of Farmingdale; daughter Mary Jane Bishop of Farmingdale and her fiance, Ronald Croteau, of Lewiston; granddaughters Michelle (Duncan) and husband David Shaw of North Whitefield, Shelly Bishop and her fiance, Randy Weston, of West Gardiner, Erica (Duncan) and husband Adam McLennan of Waldorf, Md., and Melissa (Morin) and husband Matthew Brown of Whitinsville Mass.; great-grandchildren Wesley and Walker Dumas of West Gardiner, who visited mémère every day, and Andrew and Katie Shaw of North Whitefield; sister Helen Boucher of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews.A ceremony to honor Marie will be celebrated by her nephew Father Frank Morin and will be held at the Maine Veterans' Cemetery Chapel on Civic Center Drive in Augusta on Friday, June 25, at noon.
