Mary Jane Edwards, 75, Sarasota, died Sept. 23, 2006. She was born Oct. 6, 1930, in Bellows Falls, Vt., and came to Sarasota in 1942. She retired after 30 years at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and its choir. Survivors include her husband, Harry D.; daughters Kathleen Fitzgerald of Sarasota, Karen Coward of Winter Park and Elaine Dye of New Kent, Vt.; and four grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 12 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in Mary's Garden at the church.
