HART, Mary Elizabeth "Sue" (nee Jackson) December 3, 1949 - April 17, 2007 Mrs. Mary Hart of Thorsby, Alberta passed away at the age of 57 years. Sue will be sadly and lovingly missed by her family, husband Rick and son Andrew; brother, Ken (Judith) Jackson of Sooke, B.C.; two nieces: Kimberley Jackson of Labrador and Elizabeth (Bill) Sparling of Victoria, B.C.; nephew Bernie (Marie) Jackson of San Juan, Puerto Rico; and a great-nephew, Robert Sparling of Victoria, B.C. Sue was predeceased by her parents Ada "Martha" and James. Sue was Miss New Westminster of 1970. Sue was noted for her work with porcelain dolls and ran Sue Harts Doll Hospital and was also very talented with arts and crafts. Sue was a teacher's aide for 15 years with special needs children, the last 6 years being with Pigeon Lake Regional School. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 5115 - 48th Avenue, Thorsby, Alberta with Reverend Karen Hunt officiating. Cremation has taken place. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to The Cross Cancer Institute, 11160 - University Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 1Z2.
