Funeral for Mary Harriet Lee Hood, 87, of Decatur will be Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Ridout’s Brown Service Funeral Home with Ken Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Hood, who died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at Sunbridge Nursing Home, was born Jan. 27, 1919, in Lawrence County to Robert H. and Martha Emma Taylor Lee. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hood; and her son, Harley Hood. Survivors include a daughter, Martha Kay Hood of Decatur; and grandson, Brady Frank Hood of Decatur. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church Television Ministry or to your favorite charity.
