BELL Mary Elizabeth Bell, 91, passed away Monday, November 5, 2001. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville and a graduate of the Georgia State Womens College at Valdosta. For over 60 years, Miss Bell managed the Medical Offices of Dr. Gordon Ira Sr., Dr. Gordon Ira, Jr. and Dr. Eugene Page. She was a longtime member of Snyder Memorial Methodist Church, but recently joined Faith United Methodist Church. She was a skilled pianist and very much enjoyed playing at social occasions and sometimes at church. Survivors include her niece, Mary Ann Lundy (Walter), of Arlington, Virginia and her nephew, Jim Martin (Norma), of Wiggins, Mississippi. The Reverend Dr. Frank B. Seghers, Jr. will lead Graveside services at 11:00 AM today in Evergreen Cemetery (Gate 5). The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4315 Main St., at 10:00 AM this morning, prior to the service. Please sign the Guestbook at Jacksonville.com
