BUTLER, MO-- Mary Ann Paul, 58, formerly of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Medicalodge Nursing Center in Butler, Missouri.She was born July 17, 1947, in Thomasville, Georgia, to James Dillard and Alice Ophelia Michel Jarrard. Mary, the middle of three children, was raised in Georgia. As a homemaker and housewife, Mary chose to take care of her family and home. She also worked for Wal-Mart as a forklift operator from 1994 to 2005 in Spartanburg, SC and Zephyrhills, FL. Because of failing health, she moved to Butler to be with her son in 2005. Mary was a loving and kind woman but was also strong-willed and independent. An animal lover at heart, Mary enjoyed having tropical birds and in her spare time, she also liked gardening.Mary is survived by her son, Jeff Richardson and wife Gloria of Butler, Missouri; one brother, David Michel and wife Doris of Spring Hill, Florida; one sister, Alice Faye Bonds and husband John of Spartanburg; and two grandchildren, Cassie and Cory. She was preceded in death by her father.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler with Rev. Charles Crouch officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri.Paid Funeral Notice
