Mary Ann Carpenter of Kirkwood, N.Y. Mary Ann Carpenter, 51, of Kirkwood, N.Y., our beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend went peacefully to be with her Lord Sunday, January 11, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her mother, Miretta A. Carpenter. She is survived by her children, Glenn A. Wadopian, Miretta M. Wadopian, Frances A. Wadopian and Abigail V. Carpenter. She is also survived by her father, Lowell Z. Carpenter, Sr.; her sisters, Miretta A. Campbell, Marlene A. Larson; her bother, Lowell Z. Carpenter, Jr.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, N.Y., for calling hours from 11:30-12 immediately followed by a memorial service from 12-12:30. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in her memory to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal N.Y. 13850.
