-> Mrs. Mary A. Barnes White, 82, died Friday, August 29, 2003 at Candler Hospital. She was a native of Savannah, and was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lee White, Jr., and a son, Samuel Lee White, III. Survivors: two daughters, Karen Parris and her husband, James of Savannah, Beryl White-Bing of Jacksonville, FL; one daughter-in-law, Sandra Goines-White of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Irene Humphrey and her husband, Sebron of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters-in-law, Eva White Roberts and Susan W. Berrien both of Savannah; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
