Her peace was found in her deep & abiding faith. Her greatness joy was in her family. She delighted in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, A.J. and Mary Book Baird; husband, Walter R. Green; daughter, Mary Green Sweeney; daughter in law, Deborah Eckel Green. Survived by daughter, Martha Green White Ireland; sons, Walter R. Green, Jr. & Ewing Coleman "Bo" Green; grandchildren, Mark R. (Sue) White, William Britton (Jill) White, Victoria (Ryan) Tabor, Katherine (Michael) Stough, Elizabeth (Gregory) Sanford, John Sweeney, Richard (Carolyn) Sweeney, Rachel (Timothy) Bruno, Ewing Coleman (Erica) Green, Jr. & Britton Curtis Green; sixteen great grandchildren; sister, Betty Graham. Memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church with Sally Hughes & Pat McGeachy officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church or Cumberland Heights Foundation.
