Marlene J. Davis of Binghamton N.Y.Marlene J. Davis, 57, of Binghamton, N.Y., passed away late Monday, April 29, 2002 at Lourdes Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by two sons, Richard Davis, Binghamton and Tim Davis, Endwell; three grandchildren, T.J. and Brianna Davis, Endwell, and Maria Davis, Bradenton, Fla.; and her many friends. The family would like to offer a thank you to the outstanding job of the Hospice Program at Lourdes. A twinkle in the sky has finally burned out. She is missed and loved dearly without a doubt. We will miss her witty charm and her beautiful smile. We will miss the late night talks and superb personal style. You have done so much for every one that you know. I can see it in their eyes, within them you still grow. With these final words, I love you goodbye. I cannot wait to see you again up in Heaven and sky. Thank you to a one in a million mother and a great friend. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 3, 2002 at 9 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 282 Chenango St. with Father Corey VanKuren.
