WILLIAMS, Marilyn F., 46, of Parsons, Kansas, a former resident of Mont-gomery, died at 7:50 a.m., Tues-day, July 8, 2003, at the Labette County Medical Center. She had been in failing health for the past several months.She was born December 22, 1956 in Montgomery, Alabama, a daught-er of Spencer Williams, Jr. and Mary E. (Cutts) Williams. She grew up and attended schools in Mont-gomery, Alabama. After graduat-ing from high school in Montgom-ery, she attended Alabama State University and graduated from there in 1979. She moved to Parsons in 1979 and worked as a substitute teacher in Parsons public schools. In 1980, she was employed with the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center, where she was currently working as a para-professional in the Special Purpose School.She was a former member of the Weeping Willow Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery.Survivors include her mother, Mary E. Williams, Montgomery, Alaba-ma; five brothers, Spencer Williams, III and his wife Lela, Denver, Colo-rado, Steven Williams and his wife Sihuk, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jo-seph L. Williams and his wife, Che-ryl, Evergreen, Alabama, Dwight Williams, Montgomery, Alabama, and Bill Williams and his wife, Etta, Parsons, Kansas; two sisters, Mary Collins and her husband, Clyde, Parsons, Kansas, Melissa Williams, Montgomery, Alabama; three un-cles, Julius Williams and family, Montgomery, Alabama, Morris Wil-liams and family, Montgomery, Alabama, and Robert Wimberly and family, Detroit, Michigan. She is also survived by many beloved cousins, including Walter Marie Dean of Montgomery, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father and numerous aunts and uncles.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 12, 2003, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons with Pastor Alyce Tallman Officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons.Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Treatment Center of Ameri-ca at the Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklaho-ma. These may be left at or mailed to the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, 405 Main, Parsons, Kansas 67357.
