GRANITEVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, June 02, 2009, at 11 a.m. in St. Sylvester's Catholic Church in Graniteville for Marie-Paule Rochon, who passed away May 28, 2009, at her home on Graniteville Road.The Rev. Andrew Bednarowicz, Pastor of the church, was the celebrant.Crucifer Michael Costello was altar server.Organist and soloist, Mary White accompanied vocalist, Ronald Routhier in the hymns, "Be Not Afraid," "Here I Am Lord," "Just A Closer Walk With Thee," "J'irai La Voir Un Jour" and "Prayer Of St. Francis."The Old Testament reading was read by daughter-in-law, Linda Rochon and Terry Kelty, granddaughter, read scriptures from the New Testament.Offertory gifts were presented at the altar by, Pam Grimard, cousin; Louise Lessard and Gail Lovely both friends.Pallbearers were, Mark Kelty and Philip Dow, both grandsons; Jeff Brault, Alain Brault, Armand LaCount, Jr. and Brian LaCount all cousins.A prayer service was held Monday evening at the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home in Barre and was led by Father Bednarowicz.Burial was in St. Sylvester Cemetery in Lower Websterville where Father Bednarowicz and Pastor James Lake of the Bible Baptist Church of Berlin offered Committal Prayers.Following the burial family and friends gathered at the Hilltop Restaurant on Quarry Hill Road for a time of fellowship and luncheon.Arrangements were in the care of the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home of 58 Summer St., Barre.
