MITCHELL _ (Jones) Margaret, only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Jones of Nanaimo, died on November 29, 2003 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Bill, her little daughter Valerie, and four brothers Lloyd, Ed, Gwylim, and Allan. Margaret attended Harewood Elementary School in Nanaimo and later was on the teaching staff there, after her marriage in 1940. She also lived on the Lower Mainland and for many years taught schools in Burnaby. In 1998 she returned to Vancouver Island where she spent the rest of her days. In honour of Margaret's wishes, there will be no service. If desired, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
