HUGHES-LEATHERS, MARGARET KATHERYN, 90, of Mt. Washington passed away Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Green Meadows Health Care Center in Mt. Washington. She was born on June 20, 1916 in Anderson County, KY and was a member of the First Christian Church of Mt. Washington. Mrs. Leathers was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leathers; father and mother, Maxa D. Hughes and Minnie Pearl Murphy Hughes; one daughter, Ruby Maxine Shouse; two brothers, Marvin and Forrest Hughes; two grandsons, Louis Brent Roby and Glenn Scott Shouse. She is survived by one son, Richard B. Leathers; one daughter, Bettie F. Roby; six grandchildren, Robert Glenn Roby, Paul Kent Roby, James Richard Leathers, Gregory Leathers, Katheryn Deanna Graham and Vickie Elaine Waxel; and 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchildren. Mrs. Leathers funeral service will be at noon Saturday, January 6 at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington, KY. Burial will be in the Lawarenceburg Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, KY. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Friday January 5, 2007.
