->Hayes, Margaret E.Vestal: Margaret E. Hayes, born September 18, 1932, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at her home. She was predeceased by parents, Paul and Frances Edsell; a brother, James Edsell; and a sister, Joyce Gallagher. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jerry Hayes, Vestal; her children, Kim and Curt Worcester, Rochester, N.H., Jerry and Carol Hayes, Doylestown, PA, Dr. Melissa Hayes, Vestal; her grandchildren, Jackson Rosenkranz, Madison Rosenkranz, Samantha and Lily Hayes; her sisters and brother, Patricia and John Pirich, Jerry and Pat Edsell, Shirley and Jack Guittard, Kathleen Caffrey, Ruth Tiberi, Elaine Coughlin; several nieces and nephews. She was a retired teacher's aide in the Vestal Central School System. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, loved to travel and loved animals and enjoyed gardening. Funeral service will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Reverend Edward J. Zandy, pastor of St. Vincent DePaul Church, Vestal, will officiate.
