MARGARET C.MARTIN, 84 LAKELAND - Margaret C. Martin, 84, of Lakeland, passed away Jan. 19, 2013 due to Dementia. Margaret was born in Pineville, Louisiana, and moved to Lakeland in 1946, was a homemaker, and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred. W. in 1984, and is survived by her sons, Fred W. Jr. and wife Teresa, Robin and wife Gail; daughter, Pam English and husband Jack; a sister, Bernice Salley; 7 grandchildren, Jody, Jeremiah, Joshua, Michael and Brittney, all Martin, and Jennifer and Kevin English; and 2 great grandchildren, Trevin and Chelsea. Margaret also leaves her longtime friend and caregiver Nancy Brooke. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at 11:00 am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 5245 US 98 N., with burial to follow at Socrum Cemetery. Friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, Jan. 21 at the funeral home from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
