HOBBINS, Margaret (Pinky) Anne (nee Lacroix) - Passed away in Blind River on Friday, June 6, 2008 at the age of 64. Dear sister of Edna Morningstar of Echo Bay, Norma Lofstrom of Woodstock, Dorothy McGregor (David) of Edmonton, Alberta and Albertine (Tina) Turner of Blind River. Dear aunt of the “love“ of her life Kailey and many other nieces, nephews & cousins. Special friend to Joanne Martin. As a scholar, Margaret achieved excellence as an RN, Teacher, Journalist, and many other academic achievements, too numerous to mention. She also had a passion for gardening ad reading. Her “doggies“ were her constant companion & brought her much joy & love. The world lost a brilliant mind - May she soar with the Eagles. A private family farewell was held June 10, 2008, followed by cremation. May thanks to family, friends & neighbours. Especially Rose Groulx, Elaine Payette & Sr. Dianne Bottos for spiritual comfort.
