Mrs. Mamie Lou Williams, age 85, of Commerce died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Northridge Nursing Home. Mrs. Williams was born in Banks County to the late Ralph and Mamie Sanders Beck. Mrs. Williams was retired from Wilkins Industries and was a member of Wilson United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Horace L. Williams.Mrs. Williams is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Judy Benton Williams of Gainesville; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Leighanne and Reid Fallyer of Hammond, La.; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Theron and Melaine Williams of Commerce; and grandson, Jared Williams of Gainesville; two great granddaughters; Aubrey and Ella Fallyer.Funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Travis Hardegree officiating with the interment following at Ebenezer Church Cemetery.
