WILLIAMS Louise Williams peacefully passed away Monday, August 27, 2007 in the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 24, 1927 in Jacksonville, FL to Carzie and Janie Carter. She graduated from Stanton High School and Edward Waters College. She was employed with the Duval County School Board as an elementary teacher and retired after 33 years of teaching. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, she shall be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Sgt. Lewis C. Williams; parents, Carzie and Janie Carter. She is survived by her sons, Michael Williams, Tadaryl Williams and Carter J. Williams (Tremetra); 2 grandchildren, Callaway Williams and Carter J. Williams, II; brothers and sisters, Johnnie Carter (Dorothy), Eugene Medley (Dorothy), Janie Gatson (Bobby), Sandra Jenkins, Eddie Jenkins, and Perry Jenkins, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving and treasured friends, neighbors, and extended family members. The viewing will be held Friday, August 31, 2007, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM and the Rosary will be recited at 6:00PM in the St. Pius Catholic Church, 2110 Blue Avenue. Graveside service will be celebrated Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 1:00PM in Restlawn Memorial Park, 2600 Ribault Scenic Drive.
