April 23, 2007 Louise VeNorma Simmons, age 54, of #116 Church Street, North Syracuse, NY, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY. She was born June 8, 1952 in Tonawanda, NY, the daughter of James and VeNorma Bruden Collins. She was a member and Sunday School teacher of the Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church, North Syracuse, NY. Louise was a homemaker. Survived by her husband of 28 years, Duane Simmons; daughter, Deanna Simmons, at home; son, Donald Simmons, Syracuse, NY; mother, VeNorma Collins, Buffalo, NY; sister, Judith "Robert" Hockenberry, Tonawanda, NY; mother-in-law, Julia Simmons, R.D., Westfield, PA; sisters-in-law, Donna "Merrill" Nudd, Troupsburg, NY, Veryl Simmons, R.D., Westfield, PA, Nancy "Dan" Wanser, Middleton, NY; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Collins. Family and friends are invited to call at the Brookfield United Methodist Church, Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. immediately following the visitation. Burial in Brookfield Cemetery, Brookfield Twp., PA. Pastor Deborah Watkins and Nellie Treat Offc. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, April 30, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church, North Syracuse, NY.
