Louise Hall Cox, 85, of 296 Belvue Road, died Monday, September 17, 2007, after an extended illness.She was born in Travelers Rest and was the daughter of the late Clyde E. and Cannie Williams Hall, she was a member of Locust Hill Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Cox will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will also be remembered for her quick wit and endearing sense of humor. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Raymond H. Cox of the home; two daughters, Sandra Cox Pruitt and her husband, Ervin, of Greenville, S.C. and Darlene Cox Starcher and her husband, Roger, of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Gaynelle Coleman and Ann Hall, both of Travelers Rest, S.C.; a brother, Donald Hall of Greenville, S.C.; and a grandson, Devin Pruitt of Greenville, S.C.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by sisters, Frances Plumblee and Thelma Farthing; and a brother, Clyde E. Hall, Jr.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Locust Hill Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Niki Ballew. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Pallbearers will be Steve Plumblee, Terry Plumblee, Larry Cox, Eric Hall, Randall Cox, and Mark Miller.Visitation will be held 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Locust Hill Baptist Church.The family is at the home.Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary.com
