FOY, Lise, Thérèse (nee Lemieux) - In loving memory of Lise Thérèse Foy (nee Lemieux), 43 years, after a courageous battle with cancer, Wednesday, September 13th, 2006 at Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Born in Elliot Lake Lise grew up in Elliot Lake and Chelmsford. She returned to the Sudbury area in 1995 from Elliot Lake. She had worked in the HR Department at the Sudbury Separate School Board, leaving due to her illness. Lise enjoyed gardening, travelling and spending time at the family cottage. She will be remembered as an open minded and determined individual whose strength of character inspired all who knew her. Beloved spouse of Mike Richer of Hanmer. Loving mother of Ken Foy (friend France) of Sudbury, Eric Foy of Lake Louise, Alberta and Danielle Foy of Hanmer and stepson Jacob Richer of Hanmer. Cherished daughter of Jacques and Aurore (Blanchard) Lemieux of Elliot Lake. Dear sister of Madelaine Oakes (husband Chris) of Red Lake, Monique Lemieux, Guy Lemieux (wife Debbie) and Lucy Lecuyer (husband Brian) all of Elliot Lake. Dear daughter-in-law to Bob and Margaret Richer. Dear sister-in-law to Darren and Christine, Matthew and Blair, and Melanie and Jason. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME VALCARON / BELZARD VALLEY CHAPEL, 1815 Main Street., Val Caron (Friends may call 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday only).
